Our Team

Let's Meet the Team...

CLAY HUDEPOHL

General Manager

Office: 419-994-0005

With a background in painting and hanging wallpaper I have been a home improvement junkie ever since I bought my first home. I left that profession for a career as a CNC machinist, where after 15 years I decided to return to school and pursue a degree in Business Management. Since graduating I have held positions as Group Manager, Scheduling Supervisor, and most recently as Supply Chain Manager for one of the largest automotive glass tempering facilities in the country. My experience with process improvement led me to the Shrock team and I enjoy helping create and implement standards and procedures to improve not only process quality and efficiency but also the overall customer experience. I love working so close to my home and with such a great team of kind and hardworking craftsmen. I continue to enjoy working on many different projects both inside and outside of the home I share with my beautiful wife. I also enjoying watching sports and movies as well as reading, drawing, and listening to all kinds of music.

CHRISTY VANCE

Cabinet Designer

Office: 419-994-0005

Cell: 567-215-5888

My interest in building cabinetry and renovating homes started when I was growing up and working with my dad. He taught me important home improvement skills and to be a creative problem solver. I have always had a desire to understand how things work, and this led me to earn a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toledo. I enjoy planning and building home projects and I have been creating cabinetry in my own workshop since 1998. Working as a Cabinet Designer for Shrock Premier has given me the opportunity to share what I love doing and to help families make their new home into a space that is truly customized for their needs.

NICOLE MOLLOHAN

Design Coordinator

Building a home inherently requires a multitude of decisions which must be made in a timely manner. Care must also be given to record these selections, acquire samples, and make certain that all elements blend perfectly together. This can be exhausting and overwhelming.  However, Shrock provides an answer for design decision overload!!

Nicole Mollohan is Design Coordinator for the Shrock Family of Companies.  It is her pleasure to assist clients with selections from the interior to the exterior of their dream project.  She strives to make the selection process as easy, stress free, and fun as possible.  Nicole even records and keeps track of everything for our clients from flooring to faucet choices, and is happy to travel to our selection locations or building sites to meet our clients to assist with anything they need.

Nicole has her Associates Degree in Applied Science of Interior Design, and has been working in the design industry since early 2018.  She began her career as a Kitchen Designer, which she still loves, however, Nicole always had a passion to expand her talents into coordinating all design elements together.  She feels that she has found her dream job here at Shrock Cabinetry, and takes great joy in sharing in the design decision process with clients. Her real satisfaction comes while helping others to reflect their unique style and watching their ideas come to life visually into one cohesive stunning unit.

“There is a lot of selecting finishes when building and it can easily become stressful when there is no one to guide you and organize everything. That is what I am here for. I will help make sure selections are made in a timely manner, be your personal designer to help you make those decisions, as well as organize everything for you so if you forget what you selected months prior, you can easily locate it to refresh your memory. My goal is to make this process as easy and fun for you as possible as the way it should be!”

JOHN MARTIN MILLER

Master Craftsman

Office: 419-994-0005

John is the master craftsman at Shrock Cabinetry and has over 30 years of experience making cabinets and creating furniture. He has completed cabinetry projects in 11 different states. He is what many refer to as a true “artist of cabinetry and furniture making!” He began his love for fine woodworking by completing small projects for family and neighbors, using his dad’s simple old table saw, band saw, and a small lathe. Today, John has adapted to the latest technology of Shrock Cabinetry, completing cabinetry of all styles, shapes, and sizes and also a bit of furniture and special projects. He possesses impeccable attention to detail and is passionate about his work.

One of his most memorable projects was a cabinetry install in Colorado. He was able to take two sons along and while there the three Millers were also able to take some time to enjoy what Colorado had to offer: primarily the great outdoors!! John would say that his favorite piece, however, was a very special project involving a hidden gun cabinet within a hidden gun room. He constructed a bookshelf which cleverly disguised the opening to the gun room.

When John is not busy working at the Shrock Cabinet Division, he also enjoys life with his 11 children and his wife and regularly attends local sales. The family has built a beautifully maintained softball field which draws many to the Miller homestead. Countless summer hours are spent with family, friends, and neighbors back on the ball field!

DAVID MILLER

Craftsman

Office: 419-994-0005

David has been assisting his father, John, in cabinet making since 2010 and has been working at Shrock Cabinets since its inception. Some of his previous experience included construction and roofing. When not overseeing daily production David focuses on specialty wood projects for Shrock. These types of projects include anything out of the ordinary: custom hoods, bars, mudroom cubbies, a unique barn door, a special bookcase, bunkbeds, etc.

The most unique project is also one of David’s favorites; creating a 10’ long replica boat to use as a custom bar for clients! He enjoys the creative challenge of his work and satisfaction that each piece is one of a kind, designed for a particular client. Although David may be a man of few words, his work at Shrock Cabinets speaks volumes. Completed projects that David oversees reflect dedication to the art and detail of wood working, love for a job well done, and a keen awareness of the client’s needs and desires for their project. Because of the talent and ingenuity of employees such as David, whatever our clients might dream up, Shrock Cabinetry can complete.

David, like most of the Miller clan, is a talented softball player and enjoys most anything that keeps him out in God’s beautiful creation: camping, fishing, and hunting.

MARK MILLER

Craftsman

Office: 419-994-0005

Mark Miller is the Lead Installer for the Shrock Cabinetry Division. He has been learning and perfecting his trade since the age of 12, working alongside a master carpenter.  Mark has been installing custom cabinetry and storage solutions for many years.  His goal in each unique install, is to manage every project as efficiently as possible while striving to maintain the highest level of quality possible. The challenges of each project are unique, therefore, Mark must be prepared to turn every obstacle into a beautiful and functional design solution. He knows that this is the end result that Shrock clients expect. Flawless installation not only involves the right tools, but also preparation, patience, experience, knowledge, and creativity.

Mark really enjoys trim work on cabinetry and gleans great satisfaction in a job well done. His favorite part, he says is: “I love stepping back at the end of a job and seeing everything in its finality, knowing that I did all I could to make the cabinets look as good as we promised our client that they would be.”

Mark is married and conveniently lives close enough to the cabinet shop, which is south of Loudonville, Ohio, to occasionally ride his horse to work! He not only enjoys working with horses, but Mark also takes every chance he gets to hunt and spend time with family.
